Celestial Trumpet

Paul Hart (Trumpet) - Elizabeth Le Grove (Organ)
Recorded in Portsmouth Cathedral during 2003. Paul joined the Royal Marines School of Music in 1987, after being impressed by the Royal Marines' performance at the Royal Tournament. Since this time Paul has been a leading soloist for the Royal Marines, including many performances at London's Royal Albert Hall to capacity audiences. He has also made live broadcasts on BBC television. Elizabeth studied music at the University of Wales, where she gained a BMus (honours) degree in 1980. She then spent three years as Assistant Organist at Bangor Cathedral, before taking the Post-Graduate Certificate in Education course at Durham University. In 1991 she gained the degree of MPhil in musical analysis and, in 1996, she was appointed to her present post of Academic Professor at the Royal Marines School of Music. This original recording is superbly played, recorded and presented.
