Trafalgar!

This recording by the Band of HM Royal Marines, Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth is directed by Captain Andy Thornhill and narrated by the broadcaster Richard Baker OBE RD. It tells the story in music of one of the greatest sea battles in history. On the morning of the 21st October 1805 the lookout men of HMS Victory obtained their first sight of the great fleet under the command of Admiral Villeneuve, about 10 miles off the coast of Cape Trafalgar. What ensued is written in Naval folklore and remains an inspiration to all who serve in the Royal Navy. The tracks are:
