The Martial Music of Sir Vivian Dunn

The Martial Music of Sir Vivian Dunn

This CD, a tribute by Plymouth Band to the architect of the modern day Royal Marines Band Service, was the last collaborative venture undertaken by Sir Vivian before he died in 1995. In addition to his celebrated concert march for the film Cockleshell Heroes, the programme includes two of his most famous fanfares as well as several of his less well known marches.
